Purity of
thoughts and deeds which allows you to absorb everything unfazed, unaffected
and still enjoys the drama unfolding all around you without any expectations, envious
feelings, and without the charm of positions or of acquiring more than basic material
of living, is the way to be DIVINE. (ब्रह्म)
प्रशान्तात्मा विगतभीब्राह्मचारिव्रते स्थितः ।
मन: संयम्य मच्चित्तो युक्त आसीत मत्परः ॥
: Brahmacarivrate sthitah :
(Gita -chapter 6: verse 14)
Here it does not mean only vow of
continence,
but also includes a celibate should lead a disciplined and
controlled life, according to the order of his preceptor, free from sensual
pleasures, honour, praise and comforts etc. He should not in the least, enjoy
worldly things in any state, under any circumstance,either during meditation,
or in a practical life,
BUT USE THEM ONLY AS NECESSITY OF LIFE.
(श्रीभगवद्गीता अध्याय ६, श्लोक १४)
BRAHM-charya is a compound word
DIVINE AND CONDUCT
ब्रह्मचर्य = ब्रह्म और आचरण
Conduct (आचार)
of living a pure unselfish
divine (ब्रह्म) life,
is the state of
BRAHM-CHARYA,(ब्रह्म और आचार)
A state of eternal happiness, which anyone,
living in any form of the society,
be a Married person or a Monk,
can attain,
that is the strength of Meditation.
Meditation - the
founding step of attaining
Divine Conduct – ब्रह्म आचरण.
गहराई से सोचें तो ब्रह्मचर्य
एक परमानंद (परम आनंद - divine happiness) की स्थिति
है, जो किसी
भी इंसान को
प्राप्त हो सकती
है। परमात्मा से
साक्षात्कार के लिए
साधारण मनुष्य की स्थिति
से ऊपर उठकर समता की स्थिति
का पालन करना
चाहिए । साधना के तप
के द्धारा ये
अवस्था हासिल होती है
! एक गृहस्थ
के लिए भी
ये उतनी ही
आसान है जितनी
की संन्यासी के
लिए। ब्रह्मचारी
और ब्रह्मचर्य के
बारे में हम लोगों
को भ्रमित नहीं
होना चाहिए बल्कि ये स्पष्ट होना
चाहिए कि ब्रह्म
के आचार में होने की
अवस्था ही वास्तविक
ब्रह्मचर्य है। संन्यासी होना या गृहस्थ होना हमारे और समाज के चलन पर आधारित है और दोनों धर्मों में रहकर ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन करना हमारे पर !!
In today's world most of the preachers have restricted BRAHMCHARYA
to intimate relationship between two people
(subjected to male & female is passe)
where as
to be One with
"God"
in itself - is the prime stage of
"Intimacy"
भगवान के साथ एकाकार होना
आत्मीयता की वो अवस्था है
जो ईश्वर से अन्तरंग होकर ही प्राप्त की जा सकती है !!
ध्यान रहे,लोग कहते है ब्रह्मचर्य जरूरी है, परमात्मा की खोज के लिए।
पर मेरा प्रयास कहता है की
परमात्मा की खोज पर जाने वाला
अपने इसी निर्णय से ही ब्रह्मचर्य को प्राप्त कर लेता है।
जो परमात्मा की खोज में पूरी तरह चला
जाता है,
उसकी सारी शक्तियां इतनी लीन हो जाती है
कि उसके पास सांसारिक मिथ्याओं में भटकने के लिए
न शक्ति का बहाव बचता है और न ही इच्छा ॥
सिर्फ ब्रह्मचर्य से परमात्मा
की तरफ नहीं जाया जा सकता,
लेकिन
परमात्मा की तरफ जाने वाला
ज्ररूर ब्रह्मचर्य को प्राप्त कर लेता है
और ब्रह्मचारी हो जाता है ॥
Brahmcharya
alone can not take one towards the path of God
but the one who decides to follow the directions of the Lord
attains Brahmcharya
as his desires turn in unison !!
One who, however, follows the rules and regulations of married life, having sexual relationship only with his wife (and that also under regulation), is also called brahmacārī. Such a restrained householder brahmacārī may be accepted in the bhakti school, but the jñāna and dhyāna schools do not admit even householder brahmacārīs. They require complete abstinence without compromise. In the bhakti school, a householder brahmacārī is allowed controlled sex life because the cult of bhakti-yoga is so powerful that one automatically loses sexual attraction, being engaged in the superior service of the Lord.
(Gita -chapter 6: verse 14)
It is said:
viṣayā vinivartante nirāhārasya dehinaḥ
rasa-varjaṁ raso 'py asya paraṁ dṛṣṭvā nivartate
Whereas others are forced to restrain themselves from sense gratification, a devotee of the Lord automatically refrains because of superior taste. Other than the devotee, no one has any information of that superior taste. rasa-varjaṁ raso 'py asya paraṁ dṛṣṭvā nivartate
We have seen this on day to day basis that many of the so called Brahmcharis get involved in the system of the society,wherein Saint themselves have created stages of being a Saint
MANDLESHWAR, MAHAMANDLESHWAR, JAGDGURU, SADGURU and to top it all SHANKRACHARYA, and then a race follows among the Brahmcharis to achieve these positions,
I wonder where is the state of Brahmacharya awastha left anymore among these Brhamcharis..
