समत्व योग , जिसका वर्णन कर्मबन्धन से मुक्ति में आया है उसका सरल अर्थ बताने का प्रयास ...
सब समान है।
एक प्रजाति एक समान।
Simple example...
जब हम ख़रीदने जाते हैं तो आभूषण देखते हैं और जब बेचने तो तत्व (कितना ग्राम सोना है)।
समत्व भाव,
किसी एक प्रजाति में आपके व्यवहार में कोई हीन, कोई अव्वल, का भेद न हो पर आधारित है। सबको समान रूप से बर्ताव करें भिन्न भिन्न रिश्तों का भिन्न भिन्न प्रजातियों का भेद तो रहेगा ही, (and of course in one species also the conduct will differ as per the relationships..)
यही भाव दिखता है प्रकृति में, जल में, वायु में, आकाश में, किसी के लिये अलग नहीं भेद नहीं, जहां जैसी हैं सब के लिए समान। आप किस प्रकार से use करते हैं that differs..
"मेरे तो गिरधर गोपाल,"
दुसरो ना कोय।
अर्थ यह नहीं कि मीरा बाई के लिए सिर्फ श्रीकृष्ण का ही भौतिक व आत्मिक अस्तित्व रहा, rather उनके लिए उनके कान्हा का व्यक्तित्व सर्वदा, सम्पूर्णतः , सर्वज्ञ समत्व रहा, श्री कृष्ण का ही व्यक्तित्व रहा सर्वज्ञ। सरल अर्थ है कि मीरा बाई ने हर किसी में सिर्फ श्री कृष्ण का ही रूप देखा।
यही उनकी जीवनी से शिक्षा मिलती है। जो मिला, जो पाया, जो किया सबमें कृष्ण भाव रहा ,समत्व भाव रहा !!
पिता में पितृ रूपी कृष्ण,
माता में मातृ रूपी कृष्ण,
पति में प्रीतम रूपी कृष्ण,
देवर में भाई रूपी कृष्ण,
और तो और प्रभु राम में भी अपने प्यारे श्री कृष्ण का ही दर्श रख कहती हैं-
"पायो जी मैंने राम रत्न धन पायो"
और यह भी -
लगी मोहि राम खुमारी हो।
रमझम बरसै मेहंड़ा भीजै तन सारी हो॥
चहूँ दिस चमकै दामणी गरजै घन भारी हो।
सत गुरु भेद बताइया खोली भरम किवारी हो॥
सब घट दीसै आतमा सबही सूँ न्यारी हो।
दीपग जोऊँ ग्यान का चढूँ अगम अटारी हो।
मीरा दासी राम की इमरत बलिहारी हो॥
भवार्थः-
मैं राम-नाम के नशे में चूर हूँ।रिमझिम पानी बरसता है और मेरी देह और साड़ी इसमें भीग गई है चारों ओर बिजली चमकती है और ज़ोर से बादल गरजते हैं।सतगुरु ने भ्रम के तमाम दरवाज़ों को खोलकर रहस्य कीबात बता दी।आत्मा हर देह में दिखाई देती है फिरभी सबसे विलग रहती है।मैं ज्ञान का दिव्य प्रकाश देखकर अगम की अटारी पर चढ़ जाती हूँ।मीरा कहती है कि मैं दासी बन राम के अमृत की सदैव बलिहारी हूँ
और यह भी -
राम मिलण के काज, मेरे आरति उर जागी री।तड़पत तड़पत कल न पढत है, बिरह-बाण उर लागी री।
भावार्थ : हे सखी, राममिलन की इच्छा (आशा) मेरे मन में जागी है। मैं पल पल तडप रही हूँ, क्योंकि बिरह का तीर मेरे ह्रदय को चीर गया है।
(यह पद metaphorical हैं, इनका विश्लेषण फिर कभी।।)

एक प्रजाति एक समान
ना कोई हीन ना कोई उच्च,ना ही किसी से बैर ना द्वेष
अपने में ही समाई समत्वरूप की शायद सबसे बड़ी उद्धारण।
किसी भी प्रकार का असमत्व भाव, चाहे वह कितना भी सुक्ष्म क्यों न हो, उस प्रभु मिलन की प्राप्ति में सबसे बड़ी बाधा है।
बुद्ध ने उँगलिमाल व विशाखा का भेद देखा ही नहीं वरन दोनों के प्रति समत्व भाव से उनको उनके कर्म बंधनों से मुक्ति का रास्ता दिखा दिया।
समत्व भाव को ही ध्यान रख भक्त सूरदास जी ने लिखा-
"प्रभु जी मेरे अवगुण चित्त ना धरो"
समदर्शी प्रभु नाम तिहारो चाहो तो पार करो।।
समबुद्धि , सम भाव, समत्व योग ही कर्म बंधन से उभरने का एकमात्र उपाय है।

One Genus (Species) One Type
Simple example
When we buy a piece of jewellery we look for type and shape, whereas at the time of reselling we ask for amount of GOLD in it !!
Equanimity:
The core sense is that with in one genus one shall not differentiate his behavior based on the status of another person. Yes! the conduct will be according to the different species but one genus one behavior, and of course in one species also the conduct will differ as per the relationship.
It is the same equanimity we find in elements too, Core Nature, Air, Water, Sky same for one and all as per the place they are. No difference for specific ones, if cold - cold for all, if warm - warm for all, how we utilize them that differs.

Dose not mean that for Mira it was only Krishan who mattered Physically or Spiritually rather She found Kanha persona and feel in every being, only of him. In simple terms she saw Kanha everywhere, for her Kanha is omnipresent as an element in all beings.
Mira Bai's life is the lesson of equanimity, she lived all the virtues of life in unison with Krishna!!
She treated all her relations as devoted to Kanha -
In her Father - she found Krishna as her father!
In her Mother - Krishna as her mother!
In her Husband - Krishna as her husband!
In her Brother in law - Krishna as her brother-in-law!
Not even this - She even found Krishan Love in Lord RAM!
This is how she wrote and sang: !! I found jewel of Love in the name of RAM !! 🙏
And this too -Lagi Mohe Ram Khumari ho -
I am fully intoxicated in the love of RAM NAME, which is drizzling, lightening with thunderstorm all over, and my body with my outfit is drenched in it fully. My Guru has revealed the inner meaning of Love that soul is prevalent in all bodies but is still untouched. Thus, I am feeling atop of Love and
now forever I am devoted like a slave for Ram's nectar. 🙏🙏
And she wrote this too -
Oh Friend! My heart is full of desire to meet Ram. I am yearning for him as the arrow of separation is hurting me. 🙏

One Genus shall be treated with Equanimity
Neither one shall be treated as of higher or lower grade, nor shall be treated with any grudge or malice!
The biggest example of Equality is to treat all with Equanimity !!
Even the minutest sense of un-equanimity is the biggest hurdle in the path of spirituality, in the path of salvation - to be one with GOD.
For Buddha -Unglimal and Vishakha were the same, he never differentiated, rather showed the same path of Moksha - Salvation to both.
Keeping the sense of equanimity in mind - Bhakt Surdas said -
O Lord, look not upon my evil qualities !
Thy name, O Lord, is equal sightedness, Make us both sail together the ocean of life !!
One piece of iron is worshipped in temples, another as a knife in the hands of the butcher, but "paras"' stone touches both alike and turn them into gold without differentiating !! ...
Oh Lord, look not upon my evil qualities !
Practice of Equal, Evenness, Equanimity is the only way to Moksha - Salvation form the effect of doings- Karma !!
